The Kentucky Occupational Therapy Foundation (KOTF) is in need of two board volunteers with marketing skills/interests and/or legal expertise. The board is made up of 10 members, 6 are Occupational Therapists and 4 are Non-OT members. Currently, 2 non-OT’s specialize in accounting and fund development. Some board development is provided at each meeting with board mentorship available.

Skills Necessary:

Desire to work as a member of a state board of directors and participate in group fund
raising efforts to support the mission of KOTF

Basic understanding of marketing for the organization and for events

Basic use of Microsoft Publisher, knowledge other page layout programs (PageMaker, Quark) desired

Time commitment:

Attendance at quarterly board meetings (currently held in Lexington)

2-8 hours a month, based on events or other development efforts
